What are the different Ngati Porou entities?There are four entities. Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou (TRONP) provides oversight over three subsidiaries: Nāti Growth- responsible for managing iwi assets and generating wealth Ngati Porou Oranga- responsible for health, housing and social services Toitu Ngati Porou- responsible for cultural development and sporting, cultural and tertiary education grants Find out more here.

How do I find job vacancies?We post all current vacancies for Nāti Growth on our Facebook page and Careers page, including jobs across our MānukaHoney, Forestry, Farms and Captain Morgan’s businesses, as well as our offices based in Gisborne and Auckland. How do I register as Ngati Porou?Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou manage iwi registrations. There are multiple ways to register: Online at ngatiporou.iwi.nz Call 0800 676768 Email registrations@tronp.org.nz In person at the TRONP offices in Kaiti, Gisborne - 75 Huxley Road, Outer Kaiti, Gisborne or Ruatoria - 1 Barry Avenue.

What are the benefits of being registered?You can access cultural, sporting or tertiary education grants through Toitu Ngati Porou. You are also able to vote in the TRONP Board elections(if you are 18 years or older) to elect the representatives for your rohenga. This is important to ensure that we have the right people leading the future direction of our iwi.

Do you provide support for businesses owned by Ngati Porou iwi members?We currently do not have any programmes to support businesses. However, this is an opportunity that we are exploring and will provide updates once we have worked through this. In the meantime, we encourage Ngati Porou business owners and professionals to register with Whariki, which is a Māori Business Network designed to support and uplift Māori business owners and professionals.
